Where in the World is Shelby!?

Where in the world is Shelby!? This changes often, so now if you ever wake up sweating in the middle of the night because you have no clue where I am (mom), you can check this blog and rest assured that I am probably safe and having a good time. I will try to update this as often as possible with my general whereabouts/plans/pictures of cool things. Things I might post include, but are not limited to: Mountains, animal tracks, my face, food, art projects, my cute boyfriend, and clouds.

Currently I am enjoying my last few days in Ann Arbor, and making preparations to head back to Alaska, where I will be leading a gang of high schoolers on a work project in Katmai National Park. More on that later. A couple weeks ago I got to go to Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Area on Lake Michigan. My boyfriend and I spent a few nights hiking around looking at (and collecting obscene amounts) of rocks and basking in the general splendor that is the dune ecosystem. I'm sad to be leaving again but always excited for the next adventure.
